- As a Dutch learner, it can be hard to find ways to regularly use your Dutch in practice
- Sometimes, joining a weekly class is difficult, due to family obligations / work-related travel
- Being more advanced, you may want to work on specific skills: pronunciation, writing, etc.
- Consequently, it might be easier to learn Dutch more flexibly at your own level & pace.

Please do not give up, but try to find a personal solution for further developing your Dutch skills.
It may help to realise that finding the opportunity to practice your Dutch, is generally the biggest challenge for many internationals. So often, when you try to speak Dutch, the locals will “helpfully” answer your carefully crafted Dutch questions in their best English! Even though, this is done with good intentions, it can be quite frustrating and make you wonder when/how you will ever be able to speak Dutch in practice.
Depending upon you personal needs, instruction can be given individually and/or in small groups. Also the duration and frequency of sessions can be set more flexibly. Start dates are available throughout the year.
“In my experience, one of the most important aspects of making yourself feel at home in the Netherlands is learning to speak (some) Dutch to ease local communications.”
“If you encounter any problems trying to learn Dutch and/or to keep improving yourself, let’s try and find a solution that works for you personally.” (Monique den Haan, Boost Your Dutch Trainer)
If you choose this type of tuition, the course fee will be depending upon timing, location & number of participants. For more information:
